Soon after the upset delivered by Carlos Tamara of Colombia to grab the IBF light flyweight crown from the Filipino champ Brian Viloria, the latter collapsed in his locker room and was rushed to the hospital.
Referee Bruce McTavish stopped the fight 1:45 into the 12th and final round seeing Viloria wasn’t able to defend himself against the punches of Tamara.
