After the problems faced by both camps of Mayweather and Pacquiao on the superfight, it seems that this causes Yuri Foreman to come to the picture. Bob Arum recently said that he is talking to Foreman’s camp to arrange a fight against Manny Pacquiao instead of Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is in connection with his reaction regarding the discontinuation of the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight due to drug issues/accussations.

Yuri Foreman is an Israeli boxer who is currently holding the World Boxing Association super welterweight title (148-154 lbs. category) with a professional fight record of 28-0-0 8 KOs. This undefeated record and image in the world of boxing made him as part of the choices of Bob Arum to replace Mayweather. Aside from Yuri Foreman, the Italian-American former IBF junior welterweight champion, Paul Malignaggi is also part of the options of Arum for Pacman’s next fight.

It is sad that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao megafight will not happen. However, I think people still love to see Pacquiao fight even with Malignaggi or Foreman.
