After the failed negotiations of the Mayweather and Pacquiao camp to pursue their fight, the camp of Pacquiao proceed in looking for another opponent to fight this coming March 2010. It is possibly that he will be fighting Joshua Clottey according to LA Times. Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach said in an interview that “If you concede to whatever Mayweather wants, that’s giving him an edge. We are bigger than Mayweather. We don’t need him. We don’t work for him. So, the way I feel now, we’ll go fight Clottey, then we’ll fight the winner of the Mosley vs Berto fight.”
Despite there is still some movement on the background in making the mega fight Mayweather vs Pacquiao to happen, Bob Arum said that they have moved on already and they already closed the idea of making the fight happen.
Joshua Clottey is the welterweight opponent of Miguel Cotto where he lost in a close 2009 fight.

i dont know who come up with the idea to match up pacquiao vs clottey, but what i wanna se is mayweather to fight manny , juzz remember this mr mayweather filipinos are not trators if you are good enough ti fight manny dont make any excuses, because filipinos are fair if you lived in the land of the brave then juzz show it, manny is going to have a medical or drug test like you want it no way man coward you are ….
