Pacquiao Time Cover

Aside from the honor and pride that the people’s champ got from the previous victory on his fights, another prestigious honor was given to Manny Pacquiao by being a cover of Time Magazine. Making him the first Asian sports personality to have a 5 pages column on the said magazine plus the cover issue of the month. On the said issue, Pacquiao was described as the “great hope” of Philippines. A living hero that gives strength to every Filipino by bringing winnings to the country.

Pacquiao is now lined up with other popular sports personality like Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan. This month, he is scheduled to fight against Miguel Cotto in a welterweight championship which is dubbed as Firepower: Pacquiao vs. Cotto, a battle of two great fighters between power puncher Puerto Rican and speedy Filipino.
