Efren Reyes and Rubilyn Amit Won the 10-ball World Mixed Doubles 2009

The team Philippines, former 10-ball world champion  Efren “Bata” Reyes and the reigning 10-ball’s women world champion Rubilyn Amit successfully grab the championship title of  the first 10-ball World Mixed Double 2009  last December 3 at the Novu City, Libis, Quezon City. The final score of was 9-7 in favor of the Philippines and beating the Korean team.

Reyes and Amit beat the team of Charlie Williams and Eun Ji Park, 9-7, to win the said title and $6,000 in cash prize. The Filipinos got a break in the 15th frame to take the lead, 8-7, before sweeping the next table after a miscalculated masse by Williams.
