Michael Schumacher is Back with Ferrari

The retired seven time world champion Michael Schumacher is back in the Formula One race. He will be expected on the European grand prix in Valencia on August 23. His retirement is postponed for a while to replace the injured Felipe Massa who is currently released from the intensive care unit due to the recent accident in the qualifying which he had several head injuries he acquired. This move of the F1 champ Schumacher is to help his team until Felipe Massa came back.

Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria on “Eclipse”

ETOnline.com confirmed that the T4: Terminator Salvation star Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter of Ron Howard and Cheryl Howard) will replace one character in the third franchise of the Twilight saga entitled “Eclipse.” Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefebre’s role as Victoria  (the red-headed vampire part of James coven and seeks revenge on the 3rd sequel of the Twilight series, Twilight Saga: Eclipse), which was played by the latter on the two recent Twilight movies (Twilight and New Moon).

Disney’s G-Force Overtakes Harry Potter in Box Office

The high-tech gadgets of the guinea pigs beats the magic of the wizards as the G-Force of Walt Disney ‘overthrow’ Harry Potter 6: The Half Blood Prince in the Box Office hit this weekend. The last week’s number one movie Harry Potter only earned about $30 million falling only in the second this week under G-Force who have an opening of $32.2 million.
G-Force is a 3D animation which story is “Mission: Impossible”-like only the leading casts are talking guinea pigs.

New Moon Footage from Comic-Con

There’s a new footage for the movie New Moon (Twilight 2) movie in the Comic-Con 2009 in San Diego. It is presented by Summit Entertainment as part of their promotions of the movie. If you were unable to go to San Diego and witness the said new teaser video from the movie, you can watch it here.

Heroes Season 4 Volume 5: Redemption Preview at Comic Con

The cast of Heroes assembled at Comic-Con 2009 to promote the upcoming premiere of the Heroes Season 4 Volume 5: Redemption. It is where they show the preview of the upcoming show which will be aired on the 21st of September in a full 2 hours episode. The reactions of the audience on the debut of the preview was mixed but the group successfully answered all the questions that is raised by the audiences regarding the next Heroes volume.

CONCACAF 2009 Finals: United States vs. Mexico

The United States will be competing against Mexico on the CONCACAF 2009 Finals. United States wins over Honduras on the Thursday night match with score 2-0. Its United States fifth bid for the championship title. On the other hand, Mexico beat Costa Rica during the penalties after drawing the match in a score 1-1 making them to have the chance for the Gold Cup trophy.

Blizzard’s Warcraft Movie will be Directed by Sam Raimi

Sam Raimi, acclaimed director of the blockbuster Spider-Man movies, signed to direct the much anticipated motion picture that is based on the Blizzard Entertainment’s award winning game “World of WARCRAFT.”  This was revealed on the official press release of Blizzard Entertainment today (read it here).
Warcraft universe is a rich fantasy setting that revolves around the epic conflict between the opposing forces of the Horde and the Alliance. The movie adaptation of this game will fall under Legendary Pictures’ co-production and co-financing deal with Warner Bros.

Sherlock Holmes Movie

Sherlock Holmes (2009) is a film adaptation of the fictional character from the story of Arthur Conan Doyle. Robert Downey, Jr. will portray Holmes while Jude Law will be portraying Dr. John Watson (the most trusted number two of Sherlock Holmes). The movie will be on theaters on Christmas Day this year.
